Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the sale of products by Better Flags (operating in the Netherlands) to its customers. By placing an order or completing checkout you agree to these terms.

Quotes & Orders

Custom flags are quoted individually; a quote is valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. An order is confirmed once you accept the quote / complete checkout and, where applicable, we receive payment or your accepted payment terms.

Prices & VAT

Prices are in euros. VAT is applied according to your location and status. For eligible EU business customers who provide a valid VAT number, the intra-community reverse-charge mechanism may apply. Business customers are responsible for the accuracy of the VAT details they provide.

Payment

Consumer and standard orders are payable at checkout. Approved business customers may pay by invoice, with payment due within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed. Goods remain our property until paid in full. We reserve the right to charge statutory interest and reasonable collection costs on overdue amounts.

Production & Delivery

Most flags are made to order. Estimated lead times are indicative, not guaranteed. Risk passes to you on delivery to the carrier.

International Orders (DDU)

For deliveries outside the shipping zones where duties are prepaid, shipments are sent DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid): any import duties, local taxes and customs clearance fees are your responsibility.

Artwork & Intellectual Property

You warrant that you own or are licensed to use any logos, designs or artwork you supply, and that they do not infringe third-party rights. You indemnify us against claims arising from artwork you provide. We retain rights to our own designs, templates and website content.

Returns & Cancellations

Ready-to-buy products may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Custom-made products are non-returnable unless there is an error on our part. See our Shipping & Returns page for the full policy.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes are subject to the competent Dutch courts.
